This is a casino chip from Floyd's Card Room in Martinez, California, owned by the son of the notorious bank robber, Charles Arthur 'Pretty Boy' Floyd.  The card room is long closed and was only opened from 1982 to 1983.  Not many of these chips ever surface on ebay (or anywhere else) and my ebay store is offering five of them (you are purchasing the one pictured).  The fifty-cent, .00 & .00 chips picture Pretty Boy (also nicknamed 'Chalk') and the chip pictures his divorced wife, Ruby.  His son Charles Dempsey Floyd placed his Mom and Dad's picture on the chips to honor them....he said in interviews that, although he was only 10 the last time he saw his Dad, he didn't remember him being cruel, but kind and generous (you can be generous when you rob banks), although I'm sure Melvin Purvis didn't remember him that way!
