A big block in a 67 Nova! That's right and the chassis was upgraded to handle all that power. Talk about drop dead gorgeous. It went through a 3 year, no expense spared rotisserie restoration. Only 622 miles since completed. It has a folder of documentation. It won Best Ride on Billet Specialties Wheels at 2018 Goodguys show in Denmark CA.
EXTERIOR: Amazing fit and finish. Black hides nothing and this car has nothing to hide. It is laser beam straight, precision fit body panels. I do not see a dent, wave, blister or crack anywhere. The emblems have been removed for a nice clean look. It has a cowl hood with premium locks. PPG basecoat- clearcoat. The paint is literally polished out like a mirror. Upfront is all show quality chrome. It as optional bumper guards and a custom lower spoiler. All of the stainless trim around the windows, top of the doors, rockers and wheel well moldings have been replaced. In back the tail lights and bumper is new. All new smoked glass windows. Awesome stance, it sits on a set of staggered size Billet Specialties wheels: 18s in front 20s in back with Toyo performance tires. The jambs are painted slick. Weatherstrips and window seals have been replaced.
INTERIOR: The torch red pops against the black. It has a carbon fiber 1959 Chevy Impala dash custom fitted in place of the original. EZ wiring harness and fuse panel. Genuine glove soft red leather on the upholstery. Custom contoured reclining bucket seats. The back seats match with a pop up armrest. Nice upholstered console has cup holders, a Lokar shifter, polished Vintage Air controls and a Clarion stereo system. Great looking set of VHX gauges with red accents. Chrome steering wheel is a beautiful. Door panels are custom, beautiful contoured armrests and custom speaker grills. The speaker shelf matches. It has custom pedals, handles, new mirror, LED dome light. New black carpet on the floor with matching floor mats.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: There is a 468 big block stuffed in this little car! Pro built by Warren Racing Engines. It has an enduroshine intake, Quick Fuel carb and MSD ignition on top. A set of coated headers are on each side. In front is a March billet bracket and serpentine pulley system. It has a polished alternator and a/c compressor. The power steering has a Concept One remote reservoir, stainless braided lines. A hydro boost powers the brake and steering system. It has a Wilwood master cylinder. An AutoRad aluminum radiator, electric fans, aluminum overflow bottle keep it running cool. Vintage Air system keeps the passengers comfortable. It certainly has a wow factor, not only because it's a big block but everything's decked out with highly polished aluminum or gloss paint. Big welded valve covers are chrome plated. It has drop down supports from the firewall to the frame. The inner fenders are all smooth. It has a nice set of billet hinges. Stainless hardware throughout.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's been boxed and upholstered in genuine leather with some nice aluminum details. Bright red carpeted floor. The rear panel opens up for a storage compartment and that's where the battery has been relocated. Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted like black glass, new weatherstrip.
UNDERSIDE: It is now a full frame chassis. Checkered Racing sub frame with adjustable coilover gas shocks, tubular control arms and rack & pinion steering. In back is a TCI 4 Link system. It includes substantial frame connectors with a trans crossmember and a welded in rear crossmember with driveshaft safety loop. It has tubular control arms, panhard bar and adjustable coil over gas shocks. Upgraded brake system with Wilwood drilled and slotted disc and polished calipers at all four wheels. 3 inch mandrel bent exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and stainless tips. New fuel system. It has a high torque starter. 700R-4 overdrive trans with external oil cooler hooks to a custom balanced driveshaft. In back is a Ford 9 inch Pro Series rear with 3.55 posi gears. The bottom of the car is gloss black, the chassis is gloss red.
This car is 1st class. The colors, stance, wheels, everything is just right. These cars fly when a performance small block is installed, I have not seen too many big blocks dropped in. Way more hp then it needs, but isn't that the point?
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.

About Volo Auto Museum
No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum. Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960. We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos. For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion. Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB.
Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful. We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after. Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift. No reasonable request will be turned down.
Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn’t have to be. After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you. We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else’s. Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner. This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own. We invest approximately 00 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn’t sell, we lose, not you. So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
