The turbo diesel engine alone cost me ,000 from Cummins when I ordered it. +,000accessories There’s a cool video of this Jeep on the Dino in Tallahassee turning 37” tires with over 425lb ft of torque at the rear wheels. I know Chrysler makes diesels now but I don’t care for the Italian designed motor in those. This rig doesn’t use DEF fluid, FYI, if anyone needs pictures of a specific part or area of the Jeep let me know, I can also deliver the Jeep anywhere in the lower 48 states, but the buyer will pay for fuel R&B one way. Vehicle Details
This is serial #001 of 5 DIESEL Jeep conversions using the NEW Cummins Turbo Diesel ISF engine. The engine swap was done at Bruiser Conversions in Clearwater Florida, in 2013. The Jeep was a brand new 2012 Rubicon. The 3.6 VVT gas engine was removed with just 1500 miles on it. The Cummins was ordered in 2013 and installed by Bruiser conversions. The Jeep was unveiled at Easter Jeep Safari, MOAB Utah in 2014. Besides the engine swap which is a perfect match to the factory automatic OD transmission. The diff has 3.73 gears front and rear. Upgraded driveshafts front and rear. Rock Krawler suspension and 2.5” body lift. Bilstein shocks, warn Zeon 10s winch with nylon line. XRC steel bumpers front and rear with tire carrier. TOYO tires including spare with AEV rims. New brake rotors all around with pads. All rotors and pads were replaced in 2020. I have an extra set of new rear rotors and pads that will be included. JW speaker LED headlights, and KC PRO6 LED light bar. Power step automatic retractable running boards. The factory steel rock sliders are included with the vehicle. This Jeep came loaded with all the right interior options, SAT radio navigation, cruise, AC. I’m a NON Smoker and no one has smoked in the vehicle. Interior is in mint condition as is the exterior. Vehicle was in Florida until 2017. Mileage on Cummins turbo diesel is 39000 miles. Mileage averages 16 city and 20 hwy. best I’ve gotten on trip to UTAH was 26 mpg. The engine has 4 valve heads the engine is much lighter than the 4BT it replaces, stainless steel water pump, the A/C Comp. Fuel injectors alternator are all standard parts that can be sourced from Chrysler or Cummins. They are the leader in engine conversions. This rig was studied by Chrysler factory representatives at the Jeep safari in 2014 which could have led to Chrysler ultimately building the diesel Jeep’s today. Exterior
The last 6 pictures show this rig when it was unveiled at Easter Jeep safari in MOAB Utah, we are on the MOAB rim trail which is one of the more difficult trails in MOAB The last picture, is of the front of the rig with the yellow line on the road. It was taken by me when the Ford stopped in front of me. If you zoom in on the pass side right front of the bumper you can see the point of contact. some of the fords broken tail light is lying on the bumper and some blue paint is on the stinger mount. Absolutely no damage to the my front bumper
Interior
There are two a pillar Hague’s on the drivers side that are for the EGT exhaust gas temperatures, And a Boost Hague for the turbo charger boost pressure.
