DID ERV 7 520 X 120 Link X Ring Gold Motorcycle Chain Off Road Racing Motocross
D.I.D is the number one motorcycle chain in the world. D.I.D chains are used by factory races teams from all manufacturers in race series everywhere.
The D.I.D ERV7 X-ring chain is the ultimate high-performance, lightweight, low-friction race chain available and is used extensively by many off-road race teams. The ERV7 X-ring chain utilizes D.I.D's patented X-ring technology which reduces friction by 50% over standard O-ring chains for minimized power loss. The pins on the ERV7 X-ring chain have been put through a patented heat-treatment process to produce a pin that is 1.5 times harder than conventional pins. The result is a chain that is significantly stronger and offers better wear resistance than many other chains on the market. D.I.D ERV7 X-ring chains feature a gold-plated finish that resists rust and adds a little style to your motorcycle or ATV.
Exclusively designed for motorcycle racing. High performance, lightweight and low friction chain provides the winning edge in World Class competition. Features gold color plates. Average tensile strength of 8,650 pounds. Wear life index: 3100. For 250 - 750cc Rally, 750cc Superbike and 250 - 750cc Endurance applications. Weight (per 100 links): 3.30 pounds. Includes a rivet-style master link. 120 links.
Half the Power Loss - Compared with Normal O-ring chains, D.I.D's patented X-Ring® construction reduces friction by twisting between the side plates instead of being squashed. Normal O-rings and other makers' modified O-rings have squashed points that increase friction. The twisting action of the X-Ring® disperses the pressure and minimizes power loss.
1.5 to 2 Times Longer Wear Resistance - Compared with Normal O-ring chains, the X-Ring's four contact points greatly increase its sealing performance. This keeps the dirt out and the lubrication in much better than any other O-ring. X-Rings® have the greatest wear resistance of any other type of O-ring or non-O-ring chain.
Note for installing X-ring chains: As X-ring chains are wider than standard roller chains, when fitting an X-ring chain to a motorcycle that was fitted with a non O-ring chain as original equipment, it is essential to check that there is proper clearance of the engine cases near the countershaft sprocket and any other places of close contact. Failure to do so could result in damage to the chain and motorcycle and could ultimately cause the chain to fail.
    Flo Motorsports Quality Guaranteed
Flo Motorsports is dedicated to make the most unique yet highly durable product available on the market. Our products are built to withstand years of use and we stand behind our products 100% for quality and workmanship. Flo Motorsports currently as of 2018 has the leading patented design for unbreakable Clutch and Brake Levers. At our Factory we test our product in the real world, with endless hours of testing product on our own bikes in the Arizona Desert we make sure we are always on the move to make our product stronger, more unique and affordable to the consumer.
With our unique design and top quality German Grade Forged 7075 T6 Alloy Flo Motorsports foot pegs are some of the strongest pegs available on the market. 7075 T6 Alloy is a high strength true ‘aircraft’ aluminum alloy. Its typical yield strength (73 KSI in the T6 condition) is comparable to certain steels giving the alloy a remarkably high strength-to-weight ratio. In fact, it’s worth noting that its specific strength is comparable to that of 6Al-4V Grade 5 Titanium. 7075 is roughly 2-3 times more expensive than 6061. For this reason, it is not as commonly used.
These pegs are used by some of the top Athletes and teams in the world. Our pegs are used by Factory Supercross teams like CTR Motorsports (Yamaha) , Rockwell Race team (Yamaha), Skvi , Cycle Gear Team, Colby Raha, Haiden Deegan, Brian Deegan, Talon Hawkins, Preston Boespflug and many more. Foot pegs are possibly the most over looked parts on a bike but one of the most important parts. No matter how much power your bike makes, it means nothing if there is no control of the bike . You probably haven't given much consideration to you're footpegs before, but pretty much all professional AMA supercross , motorcross and off-road riders ride go with aftermarket footpegs for a wider platform, more grip and overall control of the bike .
