ot of 5  Gaming Poker Chips ~  1 from the Cannery & 4 from the East Side Cannery, Las Vegas, NV.
I obtained these chips at these casinos.  I use to play at many different casinos well before I moved here 20 years ago.
The Cannery chip was in play but appears new.  The 4 East Side Cannery chips I obtained from the cage during the first week they were opened.  These chips were never in play.  When a new casino opened up here in Las Vegas I would go during the first week and obtain new chips usually from the cage.  In many instances while playing I would keep some chips that appeared new or almost new as these chips are.
As most of the country has been shut down due to the virus,  Las Vegas has been particularly hit hard.  Most of the casinos have re-opened and the operators are trying their best to adhere to the standards set by the Gaming Commission, the State Government, CDC and a host of other agencies trying to get ahead of the virus.  To that end one of the things the gaming manufactures are doing is coming up with ways to operate games, both live and machines, that reduce contact between players and dealers.  There was a news segment the other day showcasing a new electronic card gaming machine that
eliminates
chips.  There is a live dealer and the player inserts his money, so no money changes hands,  cards are
dealt
and displayed on a
video
screen and the game is played.  When the player is done he or she cashes out with a ticket and exchanges it for cash.
Now the reason I have detailed this as I have is that this process will virtually eliminate the need for poker chips.  If this happens the collectability of poker chips should increase.  My advice?  Jump in there now while the availability is still good.
