This software automatically confirms and prints DoorDash and Grubhub orders, using your existing 'network POS printer in any POS system'.
This software does not support UberEats' order. We tried so many times with UberEats developer. They ignored every time.
Download and test before purchasing this item at restaurantxpos.com. This page also includes in-detail support for this software.
14 days trial. Expiration will start counting when you successfully configure and able to print test print slip using this software.
Once test passes, purchase item here. After purchasing, sales are final. This is software sale. You have 14 days to test this software.
After the 14 days trial, this software will print many characters on print slip with '*,' which you cannot able to recognize.
If your printer prints order during trial period, that is it, it means this software is good to go. How do I know?
Because I am running a small restaurant using both DoorDash and Grubhub as of now, 2021-05-20 since the printed date on the image you see on this listing.
- BASIC IDEA -
Save Space, Money, and Time!
You do not want any more devices (extra POS printers from all the delivery companies, or any pads from delivery companies) in your kitchen, which is wasting your space.
You do not want to spend 0 plus for extra network POS printer for delivery order, and most of the cases, you only makes slim profit from delivery order.
You do not want to click 'confirm' for delivery order, which is wasting your precious time.
You do want to reject order if the same person (customer) keep getting refund via delivery companies, even if, you prepared everything for the order and delivery cost makes your profit slim.
You do want to see statistics by simple chart from each delivery companies' orders in some way.
AND if you do have existing 'network POS printer,' this software is your solution.
- PREREQUISITES -
Network POS Printer, If You Do Not Have One,
- Means that your current POS printer is connected by using either Ethernet cable or Wireless.
- Yes, you can use non-network POS printer (connected by serial, parallel or USB) for this software but you do not want PC in your kitchen, absolutely not.
- However, if your business is very small and unable to place 'network POS printer,' yes, you can still install this software, only if your POS's OS (operating system) is Windows 7 or later OR you have Windows 7 or later PC in your business to install this software. I recommend, DO NOT USE local printers (printers connected via. Serial, Parallel, USB to devices(PC)) for this software because, most of the time, this type of connectivity will keep the connection between DEVICE and PRINTER, and this type of printers never designed to share printer with other devices by POS developers, which will cause error on printing. I guarantee because I understand POS developing.
PC with Windows 7 or Later
- If your POS system is running on Windows 7 or later, you can install this software on any existing PC.
- Otherwise (If your POS system is running on Linux, iOS, or any Operating System), you must have PC to install and run this application.
- Regardless, your current POS's OS, this software is able to print to your existing 'network POS printer' because network printer is supposed to be shared by 'MANY' devices with 'ANY' OS (Operating System).
- To do this, you need OPOS utilities as below.
OPOS Utilities to Find Printer Name (Included in this software's installer.)
- This software's installer installs OPOS utilities from Epson, BIXILON, Citizen, and Star Micronics, based on your decision during installation.
- If your network POS printer is from different manufacturer, please check your printer manufacturer's page to download OPOS utilities for .Net.
- Installer installs OPOS utility and this software to your PC.
- You need to find your 'existing' network POS printer's printer name (set by your POS manufacturer, or set by you if you install a new network POS printer) using this utility to be shared by this software.
- If you cannot find 'printer name' of your 'existing POS printer,' you CANNOT use your POS printer for this software.
- This OPOS utility from POS printer manufacturer can find the 'printer name' for your existing network POS printer.
- If you install the right OPOS utility for your network POS printer to Windows OS during installation time (you can install all OPOS utilities to your Windows OS), you will see your network printer's 'printer name.'
- Using this 'printer name,' this software will print delivery order to your 'network POS printer.'
- I know this sounds very complicated but this is 'the' nature of using your 'network POS printer.' No exception to 'any' POS printer.
Email Address for Accepting Orders from DoorDash or Grubhub
- Both delivery company sends orders by email.
- If you are not receiving order by email, please ask DoorDash or Grubhub to send order by email. This will not affect current delivery order system from either DoorDash or Grubhub.
- OTHER CONCERNS -
Will this software affect my existing POS?
- No, as long as, you do not change 'PRINTER NAME' of existing 'network' POS printer's name using OPOS utility.
Can I use my primary Email address to accept order from DoorDash or Grubhub?
- Yes, there will be no performance degrade at all.
Can I use standard printer, other than POS printer?
- No. This is designed for 'any POS printers' only.
Can I use Label Printer to print order?
- No, I understand you want to print label but basic idea is to use your 'existing network POS printer,' located in your kitchen, to save space (no pad), money (no extra POS printer), and time (no need to confirm delivery order). Also, most of the time, labels are not big enough to print orders. I, as a kitchen worker also, see items more than 12 with all customized from DoorDash customers. There is no way to use 'label printer' to print delivery order.
- This software prints kitchen order slip (large font), and also prints customer order slip (small font), so you can staple 'customer order slip' to delivery order using stapler.
Can this software able to print 'Group Order' from DoorDash?
- Yes, DoorDash offers group order to customer to separate orders by customer name.
- This software will recognize 'Group Order' from DoorDash and print each customer's name line above the [MENU ITEM].
- This software can print 'ANY' orders from DoorDash and Grubhub.
What will be printed on the Customer Slip?
- Customer name, pick up time, order id, order detail with customizers, total number of items, printed time, and [thank you line] (thank you line comment will be customized by you) will be printed on the customer slip.
- Sorry, image of this ebay item's listing does not include customer slip as of 2021-05-20. We will include customer slip image soon.
What will be printed on the Kitchen Slip?
- Each order line (in large font for kitchen workers) with all customizers (or modifiers) that you created on delivery company's portal. Please see the image on this listing.
How much can I save using this software?
- At least more than 0 because you do not have to purchase any more network POS printer. Please research Internet for your delivery company's printer price.
- Plus space in kitchen, by not placing any extra network POS printer and any PADs from each delivery company.
- Plus kitchen worker's time and labor to confirm each delivery order (No kitchen worker wants to spend time to confirm delivery order.). Please understand, this software confirms delivery order automatically.
- Plus any cost of thermal printing papers for each extra printers from your delivery company .
- Plus electricity cost by not having any extra network POS printer or PADs.
- Plus, most importantly, your order confirmation time will be 0 seconds, and both customers and delivery companies will like this 0 second of confirmation time.
- Personal opinion... Delivery companies should promote, or give some benefit, 0 second confirmation businesses (restaurant), if delivery companies 'understand' anything about the real commercial kitchen environment.
Thank you,
Please download and test this software before purchasing.
I will increase trial time to 90 days soon, currently 14 days, because I understand restaurant businesses' management.
This will make you have 90 days to make decision to purchase this software or not.
I am that much sure that this software will help you, if you have any 'network POS printers' in your business.
I am a developer but also running a fine-dine-in restaurant in Texas.
I believe this software will either help saving your money or remove useless devices in your kitchen including extra work.
I do not need to make this kind of small money because I have my own business but I do understand how critical the ordering system is in the restaurant business.
Do not hesitate to ask any question about this item.
